While our online store was a great way to get started back in 1999, our goals of providing knitting help for our customers couldn't be met over the phone or via email. It's also takes time away from our local customers and was too much for a one woman show.

How do you keep your prices so low?

In short, low overhead. Few employees, no lease (we own our building) and concentrating on our goals of providing a great selection of yarn and knitting tools. We don't make our customers pay for a large staff and fancy furniture. Many of our steady customers drive here from quite a distance.

Do you still have one of the largest selections of knitting patterns?

Yes.

I heard you have free knitting lessons. Is that true?

Yes. We charge a small fee for help with projects purchased at another shop, but we provide free help for our customers. It's likely that you'll complete your knitting project, with expert help, for less than just the cost of the supplies elsewhere.
