Artfelt Needle/Wet Felting

Come have fun with Artfelt! Our last class was a big hit.
This time we’ll be making felted flowers (paper and wool provided).
You can make them into pins or applique them onto bags, or? You’ll need to buy a felting foam block (which we have).
And there will be extra Artfelt kits available in case you get inspired. EASY.

Introduction to Continental Knitting

There are 2 styles of knitting. English Style (throwing), where the yarn is carried in your right hand and Continental Style (picking), where the yarn is carried in your left hand. Are you a thrower who longs to pick? Come to this class and I’ll show you how. Limited to 12 students.

Worsted Weight Magic Loop Socks
Cost $70 plus materials Limit 6 students Take this popular class and learn how to knit socks using one long circular needle. This is an intermediate class. You must know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. previous sock knitting experience a plus but not necessary.

Circular Needles; Why We Love Them
Cost $10 plus materials Limit 12 students Are you intimidated by circular needles? Have you heard you can use them to “knit flat” but can’t imagine how? Did you know that knitting on circulars is easier on your joints? Roxi will take the mystery out of circulars and show you how you can use these needles to knit “in the round” and “flat”.
