Q: Why don't you do online or mail orders?

    A: It's a felony in Washington to ship pipe tobacco to a residence in the state. We also have a 95% state excise tax on the stuff. It typically costs us the manufacturer's suggested retail price just to get it into our shop. We couldn't be competitive. Besides, there are others who do this very well.

Q: Can you order something for me that you don't currently carry?

    A: We will do our best to stock what you want and special order anything we can get our hands on. Just let us know. 

Q: Why are the Samuel Gawith tins so hard to get?

    A: The word I'm getting is that they are having some tinning problems. I'll order as many as I can get my hands on, but will also order bulk Squadron Leader and others as they become available.
